Royal Hairstyles Training Academy and Salon is hosting their first annual Miss Royal Hairstyles Scholarship Pageant on 6 September from 9pm – 12pm at Shikisha Bar (15 Miriam Makeba Rd, Newtown Cultural Precinct, Johannesburg). DJs will perform all night long at this event and celebrity brand ambassador DJ Zinhle will be the headline act for the evening.
The purpose of this event is to find five brand ambassadors for the company. These ambassadors must be available for photo shoots, exhibitions, career expos and marketing- or publicity-related activities. The top three contestants will receive scholarships to help pay their school fees. The winner will receive a R5 000 scholarship, the first runner-up will receive a R2 500 scholarship and the second runner-up will receive a R1 000 scholarship. The top five contestants will also receive free treatments for a year from the salon.
To enter, contestants must be enrolled in an accredited Gauteng-based South African college or university and must have at least one year of tertiary studies left to complete.
