Singer Ciara and football player Russell Wilson tied the knot during a beautiful ceremony in England.

The couple exchanged their vows in front of 100 guests, including their family and friends. Some of their friends who attended the nuptials include singers Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.

During an interview with E!News in September 2015 Ciara described Russell as an amazing guy.

“Honestly, him being in my life is really sweet, [you] know, so, I am very, very… life is pretty good, I can say that,” she told E!News.

The couple recently hogged the headlines when they announced that they had chosen celibacy due to Russel’s religious beliefs.

“You know, when Russell talked about it, he was being honest. For what it’s worth I think there are so many people like us,” Ciara told E!News. “We get to share real things. We’re real people.

“I run into different people and they’ll talk to me about their journey and their relationships, so I think that’s been really cool and it’s a healthy thing [celibacy],” she continued. “It’s a healthy conversation we all get to have as adults. I’m not sweating it at all.”

She also told the publication that she had plans to have more children.

Ciara and Russell started dating in 2015, following her break-up with rapper Future with whom she has a two-year-old son.

The singer, who filed a $15 million (R219 milllion) defamation lawsuit case against the rapper earlier this year – accusing him of making false accusations about her parenting skills, has filed more legal documents as she believes that Future wants to kill her new husband.

Future has also been vocal about how he disapproves of Russell’s relationship with his son.
