Dlamini, who got engaged in December last year to photographer Quinton Jones, jetted off to the City of Love with her close friends to celebrate her bridal shower, a month before her wedding.
Dlamini told Sowetan: “I cannot wait for my upcoming white wedding and to share it with South Africa. Without giving too much away, my wedding dress is something you have never seen me in. I’m in a red carpet dress almost every week. So I wanted people to see me in a different light. So this is exactly what my wedding dress is going to be.”
In July, the couple held their umembeso, a gift-giving ceremony, in KwaZulu-Natal, a previous article in DESTINY reports. Guests included businesswoman Basetsana Kumalo and her sister, Johanna Mukoki, TV and radio personality Anele Mdoda and songstress Unathi Msengana.
Dlamini announced her engagement on Instagram in December 2016, and in an interview with Mdoda on Real Talk, the star gushed about her man.
“He sees a lot less domesticated Minnie because I’m very spoilt,” she said. “He spoils me a lot – he cooks for me, he brings me breakfast in bed and does cute things for me. It’s nice to be taken care of for the first time in a long time.”

In June, it was reported that the TV rights to the wedding ceremony had been sold to MultiChoice for R6 million. However, Dlamini has disputed the figure, and her publicist, Sarit Tomlinson, said that they were in talks.
“We are currently in discussions with a lot of people for partnerships on the wedding. The discussions with MultiChoice are ongoing and nothing has been signed yet,” she said.
Minnie’s reality show, Becoming Mrs Jones, will air on Vuzu Amp on 13 October.
