American stylist June Ambrose began her career as a stylist at MCA Records. Since then, she has managed to grow her celebrity clientele to include big names such as Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and rap mogul Jay-Z. She has also launched a line of sunglasses, owns a range of fun fabulous T-shirts. Ambrose has proven that she is able to adapt her business and brand to keep up with the times, while maintaining her authenticity.

Business mogul Carol Bouwer, another career chameleon, is known for her work as an actress,  creating and co-hosting the much loved TV show Motswako and being the pioneer of the Mbokodo Awards, an event that honours women who have done well in leadership roles.

Bouwer has also created The African Odyssey, a platform, she says, that will link businesswomen from across the world.

The two women are proof that change is the only constant in life and reinventing yourself is the key to staying relevant in business.
