Spice up your look with 5 fast and easy hairstyle ideas.

Looking glamorous and stylish is hard work. Even with the best intentions we often do not have the time during our morning routine to create the ideal hairstyle. The good news is that now you can create 5 quick and easy hairstyles that will still leave you looking chic and gorgeous.

1. High braid
Pull your hair into a tight, high ponytail using a bristle brush. Take a small section of hair and wrap it around the elastic band, pinning the hair underneath. This will hide the elastic band giving the ponytail a chic look. Next, braid the entire ponytail loosely from top to bottom. You want the ponytail to look a bit messy by tugging on the sides. Now you have a perfect Hollywood chic and easy hairstyle.

2. Hat savvy
A hat can be your best friend on a bad hair day. All you need to do is style the hair that is showing around the face slightly. You can either straighten it with a flat iron or add some curls with a curling iron.

3. Side ponytail
Your blowout is a few days old and you are trying to avoid washing your hair for one more day - the side ponytail is the perfect stylish solution. Make a deep side parting in your hair. Rub a small amount of styling wax on your hands and pull your hair to the side. Create a low side ponytail just under your ear. Take a small section of hair and wrap it around the elastic band, pinning the hair underneath. Keep the style loose and messy for the perfect stylish look.

4. Halfway up and down
Pull your hair back at your temples, dividing it into two sections. Secure the top section with an elastic band. Wrap a thin section of hair around the elastic band and pin it underneath. Leave the other section of hair loose. Finish the look by adding a few curls using a curling iron. This look is very soft and romantic.

5. Thick headband
You can instantly turn a boring hairstyle into something unique using a thick headband. Comb your hair into a messy bun at the back of your head. Slip on a thick headband a few centimetres back from your hairline and voila, you have just created another easy and chic hairstyle.
