Beyoncé is set to begin recording her fifth studio album nearly six months after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy.
A new album is on the cards for singer Beyoncé. The R&B superstar has confirmed she will be recording her fifth studio album.
The curator of Menil museum, Toby Kamps, was told by Beyoncé she was preparing to go back into the studio and record her latest musical offering.
Beyoncé has been on a hometown visit with family to Houston in commemoration of America’s Independence Day.
The star visited Menil museum and was hosted by Kamps and Menil Communications Director Vance Muse. Kamps has just revealed his new artwork, a selection of blue paintings, piquing Beyoncé’s interest as the singer has an affinity with all things blue in honour of her daughter, Blue Ivy.
Beyoncé is fresh from her two wins at the BET awards where she picked up accolades for Best Female Artist and Video Director of the Year. While accepting her speech, said she fell in love with music by listening to R&B. “It’s the core of who I am,” she said. Beyoncé added she was thankful to Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill for their influence.
Meanwhile reports have surfaced stating Beyonce was upset at a joke made by Mindless Behaviour at the BET awards. The group mocked Lauryn Hill’s tax woes on live television. Beyoncé reportedly chastised the group, calling the joke distasteful and leading to her dedicating her award to Hill. The group later apologised for their statement.
