Many women cannot help but envy how gorgeous starlets look on the red carpet, but there is no harm in emulating these beautiful make-up looks yourself.

Kim Kardashian - Red Lips
Kim (see look on our slideshow) rarely puts a foot wrong and this look is no exception. Red lip colour has always been a firm favourite as it never goes out of style, suits every season and compliments a variety of skin tones. There are many variations and different shades to suit any occasion. Kim has opted for a nice light shade that gives full coverage and a smooth finish. Experiment with an assortment of shades ranging from Ruby Red to a soft Cherry Red.

Brandy Norwood - Full Eyelashes
Brandy (see look on our slideshow) channels nuances of grungy make-up by adding dramatic volume to her eyelashes to truly accentuate her eyes. This can be achieved by using a lot of mascara or fake eyelashes. Using lengthening or volumising mascara is particularly helpful in developing this look. Be sure to soften the look with a nice light lip colour, as darker lips with a dark eye can be a rather overwhelming and heavy look.

Jennifer Lopez - Natural Look
Jennifer (see look on our slideshow) demonstrates that you don’t need heavy make-up to look your best. Her brows have been well-shaped and that instantly adds visual appeal. Light mascara widens her eyes and makes them pop, but the blend of light and dark shades on the eyelid adds sheen and colour. A nice shiny slick of lip gloss with a hint of colour brings out her lips, but the look is still minimal. Just be sure to smooth out your foundation or use a nice tinted moisturiser with your winter colour.
