We try Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel

Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel contains hyaluronic acid to ensure long-lasting moisture as well as pomegranate extract to help tighten pores. Clarins has formulated this cream gel to ensure long-lasting moisture and to protect the skin from harsh elements like the sun, wind and pollutants.

The first time I applied this product I was not sure what to make of it as it really is more of a gel than a cream and was quite oily. However, after I had applied it to my face, I could feel it soak in straight away and it left my skin soft to the touch. It also has a very pleasant, fresh fragrance which is quite subtle and not too perfumed. The only issue I had with this cream-gel is that it left my hands slightly sticky for a while.

Overall I feel that this is another very good product by Clarins, especially good in the winter months when your skin needs a boost of moisture. The blue glass bottle and white lid is very classy and gives the feeling of a sophisticated product. The price of R495 is a little steep but Clarins is a quality brand and you do get what you pay for, especially in this case.

Price: R495

Available from Edgars, Red Square and Stuttafords stores nationwide.
