Studying for an MBA could be bad for your health, marriage and sex life, according to a survey by Finweek.
Thinking of doing an MBA to advance your career? Well, you might want to think again, since according to a new Lifestyle Impact Study by Finweek, Feedbackrocket.com and MBAConnect.net, it could have a negative effect on your marriage, sex life and general health and wellness.
Finweek editor Marc Ashton told www.iafrica.com that the comprehensive study was conducted due to the lack of research into what the "financial, professional, health and social impacts" of studying the degree were. The study addressed questions such as: do people who went into an MBA qualification looking for a job actually succeed in their goal? Did the MBA qualification really improve their salary? Is there a relationship between committing to an MBA and the divorce rate among market participants?

The overall conclusion of the study is that though an MBA is a valuable "professional development qualification", it shouldn't be undertaken lightly.
