We try Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
I worked as a professional make-up artist for over 11 years and the one product that was always in my make-up kit was Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. The main reason make-up artists and beauty editors love this product is because it's so versatile. You can use it on dry areas (chapped lips, rough elbows, feet, knees and calluses) and even for making lips and eyelids shiny, keeping eyebrows in place and softening your cuticles. There are an infinite number of ways you can use this cream.
The texture of this cream is actually gel based (not creamy) – who would have known. It contains petrolatum, skin-soothing beta-hydroxy and vitamin E, making it a very effective balm that restores, calms and helps relieve chapped, cracked and dry skin.
I love using it on my cuticles and also on my lips. I apply it thickly on my lips before bedtime and the next morning when I wake up, my lips are super soft. This is a staple product in my home that gets used by the whole family for many reasons.
Elizabeth Arden has recently launched a fragrance-free version of the original Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. It is also suitable for all skin types.
