Bold eyebrows are one of the big make-up trends for spring 2012. Not only do they look super-trendy, but they are dramatic and eye-catching too – perfect for a night out on the town. Follow our easy steps and learn how to create bold brows.

Step 1: Full brows
Full and thick eyebrows are best for this look. If you have been shaping your eyebrows, give them a bit of a break and grow them out. This might seem a drastic step, but fuller eyebrows have been making a big comeback this season. Furthermore, thicker eyebrows also give you a more youthful appearance.

Step 2: Comb your brows
Comb your eyebrows upwards using an eyebrow brush. If you do not have an eyebrow brush, use an old washed mascara wand – it works just as well. This will make your eyebrows look even fuller.

Step 3: Define the brows
The next step is to define your eyebrows. It is vital to make sure that your eyebrows look natural and not "drawn" in. Use a small eyebrow brush and a muted light brown shadow. Dip your brush into the shadow and very lightly dust some shadow onto your eyebrows. You need a very small touch of shadow on the brows to make a big difference.

Step 4: Set your brows
Use an eyebrow gel and comb over the eyebrows to set them. Remember to comb upwards again to keep the brows looking full. Eyebrow gel will keep your eyebrows in place – they do the same for the eyebrows as hairspray will do for hair.
