A bronze look is great for an evening out, since it gives you that healthy, sun-kissed glow.
British actress Naomie Harris was perfection from head to toe at the Oscars 2013. She pulled off the bronze look and was positively glowing (see other Oscars looks here). To create this look, follow our three easy tips below.
Tip 1: Be subtle
Bronzer leaves a beautiful warm glow on the skin and can give you that goddess look. It is, however, very important to use it sparingly, since a little goes a long way. Too much bronzer can make you look too shimmery and orange. So remember, less is more.
Tip 2: Natural application
Apply the bronzer where the sun would normally warm the face, since it will leave your skin looking natural. This includes the top of the cheekbones, temples, bridge of the nose and tip of the chin. Use your fingers to apply a cream bronzer, or use a powder brush to apply a powder bronzer. Make sure to blend the edges well.
Tip 3: Eyes and lips
A liquid liner on the top lash always looks great with this look. Remember to extend the liquid liner outwards to create a little flick. This also makes the eyes look bigger. Keep your blusher and lips nude for a modern look.
