What's it about?
The movie follows the lives of Gog’ Helen (Lillian Dube) and her granddaughter Agnes (Kagiso Rakosa), as they get drawn into a life-and-death race against time, drug lords and thugs... all in the hope of saving Gogo’s mattress– with her life savings stashed inside.
Agnes decides to surprise her grandmother by getting her a new mattress and throws away the old one without realising it contained gogo’s savings. When Gog’ Helen returns home to find Agnes, her joy quickly turns to grief at the thought of losing the money that she hid in her old mattress. The two then rush to recover the mattrress, only to discover that waste collectors have taken it and are on their way to the dumping site – and that’s where the adventure starts.
