How to find the perfect lingerie for Valentine’s Day that will make you feel confident and sexy and drive him crazy!
There’s nothing like a pretty and sensual set of lingerie to help make Valentine’s Day a romantic and memorable one. We asked bra specialist Maureen Esterhuysen of Barclay & Clegg ladies lingerie and swimwear some questions on how to choose the right intimate apparel for V-Day:
What 5 tips can you give us for selecting the perfect set of sexy lingerie for Valentine’s Day?
1. Forget about what you normally wear, be daring and select something totally different.
2. Make sure it fits properly, as this will make you feel confident.
3. Choose black and red (both associated with love) in sheer fabrics.
4. A half-cup bra and lace G-string immediately makes you feel sexy.
5. Black lace stay-ups or suspenders with stockings will finish off your outfit.
How do you find the prefect fit?
It’s important to have a professional fitting. If the bra fits you properly and looks good on you, then decide on the colour – good-fitting underwear will always give you confidence and when you are confident, you will automatically feel sexy. If your underwear feels uncomfortable, then you are wearing the wrong size!
Being measured and fitted is the only way to find your proper bra size. Like you try on shoes, so too must you be measured for underwear. Most women believe they are still the same size their mothers told them they were – but body shapes and sizes change as you get older and so does your breasts.
As with most clothing, different manufacturers' sizes are slightly different, so you need to try on the bra to get a good fit.
