Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are reportedly following a pregnancy plan to ensure a royal heir is born soon.

The couple are said to have mapped out a strategy which involves date nights, healthy eating and exercise. An insider told US Weekly that the duo are hoping to fall pregnant any time between the last leg of their royal tour in September 2012 and summer 2013.

"They're excited!," said the source. In addition the source explains Prince William may not announce his long-term careers plans with the Royal Air Force. The British royals have been married for over a year and recently celebrated their first anniversary.

Their lavish wedding was broadcast on live television across the world while Kate is a regular on style pages. Although William is yet to inherit the throne, the two are said to be under pressure to produce a royal sprog.

Another couple who are intent on having children are Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. They wed in 2009 after two weeks of dating. According to TMZ, they have been trying for a baby since last year and have now enrolled for fertility treatment.

Kardashian was seen visiting the ART Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills, with sister Kim. Khloe revealed to US Weekly she and Odom were trying hard for a baby.

"People keep saying, 'Why aren't you pregnant yet?' That's what scares me, when people are like, 'Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything is working?' It's nerve-racking. Sometimes I feel like I'm letting everyone down."

Khloe is said to feel the pressure to have a child as older sister Kourtney is expecting her second child with Scott Disick.
