Kimye sightings in Cannes

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have cemented their couple status with numerous public sightings in Cannes, France.

Move over Brangelina, there's a new couple in town. Kimye (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) have descended on Cannes in the south of France and are painting the town red. 

Up until now Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have remained pretty low-key in publicly supporting each other's success since they started dating in April. West decided to skip the red carpet at the recent Fifi awards, where Kim's signature perfume was up for an award, allowing the sexy reality star to revel in the limelight on her own. Then at the weekend, Kim took a backseat at the after-party for West's Watch the Throne concert at London's O2 Arena.

But last night the world's newest power couple were out in full force at the premiere of Kanye West's short film Cruel Summer at Palm Beach in the French Riviera town. Kim showed her supported for her new beau dressed in a cheeky short Balmain sequinned number, as they posed together on the red carpet. 

The couple, who are staying on a yacht docked at Cannes during the annual film festival, were also spotted disembarking to grab some ice cream at a nearby ice cream palour. 

Guess that's one way to cool down a hot couple!
