Head of the Secretariat for the National Planning Commission, Kuben Naidoo, will be one of the speakers at the Destiny Forum.
Kuben Naidoo was born in Johannesburg. He is currently the Head of Secretariat, for the National Planning Commission to the Presidency. Naidoo holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a postgraduate diploma in public management from Wits and an MBA from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. In 1998 Naidoo joined the National Treasury where he was the head of the budget office for four years. During his four years in the budget office he worked on education finance, public sector personnel policy, intergovernmental fiscal relations, capital budgeting, budget reform and fiscal policy. Naidoo has also spent two years in the United Kingdom at the Treasury working on that country’s biannual spending review and capital budget.
Naidoo will be discussing the topic Remaking South Africa – A Plan for 2030 at the forum. He is part of the stellar line-up of Destiny Forum speakers which includes New York Times best-selling author Dr Iyanla Vanzant, branding guru Thebe Ikalafeng, businesswoman extraordinaire Phuti Mahanyele and world-renowned motivational speaker Marcus Buckingham.
