Two albums based on saved material are set for release.
Destiny’s Child is planning a comeback with the scheduled release of two new albums.
Matthew Knowles, manager of the music group, has confirmed that he has unreleased material with which he intends to produce the albums. Speaking to the Huffington Post, Knowles said he aimed to set the wheels in motion for a Desiny’s Child world tour.
He said he'd saved previously recorded material when Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were still together. Knowles' announcement has been long awaited, as calls for a new Destiny’s Child offering have become louder over the years.
The trio burst onto the music scene during the Nineties, when they were in their teens, and went on to release several albums. After having won numerous awards, they decided to temporarily break up and focus on their individual music careers.
Knowles successfully went solo and has released four albums to date. Rowland's won a Grammy award for her music efforts and has two albums on the market, while Williams has opted to record gospel works.
