Pretoria Portland Cement (PPC) Women's Forum helps career women navigate challenges.
PPC launched its PPC Women’s Forum (PPCWF) in 2011 to help address the challenges faced by career women on a daily basis, both in and out of the workplace. Sponsored by the company CEO, Mr. Paul Stuiver, and championed by Ms. Tryphosa Ramano, PPC Chief Financial Officer, the forum provides a platform for women in PPC to voice issues that directly affect them, share ideas, and inspire each other.
The PPCWF represents a change agent within the organisation that attracts, nurtures and advances women to effective leadership roles within PPC. It is a professional platform where creativity and innovation is encouraged.
As part of the Women’s Day Celebrations, the PPCWF will be hosting a conference on
8 August 2012 at the Sandton Sun Hotel. Delegates will be inspired by keynote speakers including, Monhla Hlahla, Chairperson at the Industrial Development Corporation, and Dr. Mamphele Ramphele, Chairperson of Circle Capital Ventures Ltd.
