Spoil yourself and the women in your life! Sorbet beauty salons are branching out into events, created by women for women.
Looking for a bachelorette party with a twist? A fabulous weekend away with the ladies? Or an excuse for lavish pampering? Say no more! National beauty salon chain Sorbet has launched a new events management business, spearheaded by former Miss SA Claudia Henkel.
Henkel says that after surveying 70 000 loyal Sorbet salon supporters, it was evident that there was a demand for events that catered to women. This new project focuses on extending Sorbet’s existing ethos of encouraging women to love and respect their bodies. Henkel harnesses seven years of experience in event management to facilitate large and small-scale events specifically aimed at women, like baby showers, product and business launches, corporate seminars, golf days and specialised ladies’ events. All aspects of the event are taken care of: food, entertainment, decor… You won’t even have to lift a finger!
Sorbet also offers exclusive events such as pamper parties and the Sorbet Rejuve weekend away. The Sorbet Rejuve weekend retreat whisks a group of women away for one night and two days to a five-star destination. Experts are on hand with advice on health, beauty, lifestyle and wellness, through an assortment of activities designed to make women feel good about themselves and their bodies.
The pamper sessions are hosted at private pamper studios. Henkel says the pamper parties provide an opportunity for women to treat themselves in an intimate, safe and secure setting. The sessions are based on providing women with individual attention from a talented team of therapists. Ladies can expect cocktails, snacks and goodie bags while being attended to by their own "glam squad" with express manicures and pedicures and shoulder and neck massages by Sorbet, hair styling by Gary Rom and make-up application by Maybelline.
These offerings are available nationwide and groups of ten or more women can be accommodated at other venues, such as private homes or offices.
Pamper party: R599 per person
Sorbet Rejuve Weekend: R3 500 per person (all inclusive)
