Corporate training company Alusani Skills & Training Network is set to present two women-focused courses in the first quarter of this year.
The Management and Leadership Development for Women course is set to take place on 26 and 27 February, while Assertive Communication Skills for Women is scheduled for 11 and 12 April.
Alusani Skills & Training Network has a track record in researching skills gaps and creating short training courses for real-life application.
Over 13 000 public and private sector professionals have gone through Alusani’s more than 175 practical courses, covering 19 different subject areas. The courses are presented by industry experts who are all leaders in their fields.
Lizanne de Jong will present both courses. De Jong holds a Masters in Human Resources and she has worked as an HR manager in various industries, including retail, education and legal. In 1999 she started her own consultancy which specialises in HR, training, organisational development and coaching. Her client list includes a wide range of small to medium- sized businesses, as well as high-profile multinational organisations.
Lizanne is excited to be presenting the courses and says, “Although it is true that women have made huge advances in the corporate environment, many of us still find ourselves facing tough challenges that cause ongoing frustration and getting the balance right can sometimes mean that we unconsciously sabotage our own happiness and success.
