SA Fashion Week Summer 2012 kicked off with the Sheer Glamour Collections presented by leaders in hair care Motions and TRESemmé.
A hairstyle can make or break an outfit, no matter how amazing the designer dress is. A well groomed and healthy looking hairdo not only finishes the look, but will make you feel beautiful and confident.
To highlight just how important good looking hair is, TRESemmé, SA Fashion Week's new sponsor along with Motions, collaborated with some of SA's top designers to bring the Sheer Glamour Collections.
Last night, 29 March 2012, international celebrity stylist Ursula Stephen for Motions and Matthew Mansoor for TRESemmé brought collections by leading local designers Black Coffee, Clive Rundle, Vesselina Pentcheva and Gavin Rajah to life with great looking hairdos.
The evening, which coincided with the launch of SHIMMER by Motions magazine, kicked off with SHIMMER's first cover star, Minnie Dlamini, walking down the runway in a red flower couture gown by florist Franz Gräbe.
This was followed by some of SA's top celebrities, including Pearl Thusi and DESTINY's April cover star, Pabi Moloi, showcasing garments from Rubicon.
