We have been seeing a variety of nail trends on the runway during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.

1. At the Costello Tagliapiertra Spring 2012 show, models had beautiful pastel tones on the nails. These champagne-grey tones have become very trendy and they look so feminine and chic.

2. Bright orange/red nails were key at the Wes Gordon Spring 2012 show. Before, the best shape for nails were short and square, but now we are seeing much longer and rounder shapes. The longer nails looks very stylish and glamoreous.

3. Black smudged tips were seen at the Parkchoonmoo Spring 2012 show. The nails still looked tasteful with a glossy top coat. The length of the nail was kept short and therefore it still looked fresh.
