Wilson headed home Matt Ritchie's corner in the 31st minute - his second goal in three days - while long-serving defender Primus played the first 12 minutes in an unfamiliar holding midfield role.

Ibrahima Sonko made his Blues debut having joined on a season-long loan from Stoke and John Utaka played his first game since returning from the World Cup.
