My flatmate believes I have totally lost my mind. In a way I guess I sort of lost it a long time ago really. I tend to let my imagination go on the rampage, with all sorts of wild stories and conspiracies. I think my latest has taken the cake.
I am convinced that an old school friend of ours has gone through a BIG transformation if you know what I mean, considering we attended an all girls school at the time and come from a rather reserved society! Thanks to modern technology I put everything together and voila there it was staring me in the face..OMG but that’s…..
After a lengthy telephone conversation, I think I managed to slightly convince her that what I am saying makes perfect sense. Though she can’t deny she enjoys listening to me babble on with my never ending ideas and exaggerated verbal expressions; if at any point I ever doubted my ability to write that best seller J - they are gone.
I have put it off long enough and ignored my friends when they have lectured me time over about how I am wasting my talent! My friends surely know how to boost one’s ego that’s for sure. So maybe I may not get to best seller status, but I am willing to try go beyond the 3 pages I have written to date.
So the moral of the story is - go after what you are passionate about no matter how small or big, you only get one life to do it! And if you have very awesome friends like mine take their positive advice to heart..you never know which heights you will reach in the future!
