One month to go before the end of the year, and I guess, amongst many,
I am doing serious introspection ,
and putting things into perspective.
I am re-reading the Alchemist (EVERONE SHOULD GET A COPY)
and after reading a couple of pages,
I had an epiphany, that
I am in this confusion of
my own understanding.Because
I am sweeping my 1st love under
the carpet, pursuing a career that MIGHT not be DESTINED for me. And by so
doing, I am slowly burying it (1st love),
"under the burden of struggling
for clothes,recognition, acceptance,growth...ect"
As I read the Alchemist, I am made aware that,
"I AM CAPABLE, AT ANY TIME OF MY LIFE,OF DOING WHAT I DREAM OF",
do what I think I am destined to do. And
another statement from the Alchemist, that ignitated a strong emotion and desire within me.
I'll paraphrase, in discovering our destiny and self, we become more concerned about
what other people think about our choosen career path or the career that you want to pursue,
to such an extent that their opinions becomes more important
than our own destiny or taht that appeals to us.
After serious introspection, reading peoples blogs and reading responses in my own blog.
I am finally in an understanding of my own confusion/misery.
The confinements are not for me,
sitting behing the desk, is just not me or for me
I am Bcom graduate,
Wits Alumni,
majored in Economics and Mathematics.
Both I love equally.
and I am quitting the corporate world,
and I am following my destiny, the road less travelled, which I would
love to believe, it is a "desire originated from the
soul of the universe. It's my mission on Earth"
