SINGLE AND LOVING IT !!! CONTRACT
This love thing is so complicated and when you the only single one amongst your friends it really feels more complicated because they try their best to hook you up with this one and that one, or they will see your ex and tell you how you guys should think about sorting your differences out so I will not be the single one in the group. Yes their hearts are in the right place and I thank them for that. I have been playing along in their theatre productions and enough is enough…
So I have decided to embrace my singlehood and watching Sex and The City helps a lot too. But I am really embracing this single life, I have decided to look at it in a different way. What I have been doing before is walking around looking for Mr. Right, and when I say looking I mean everywhere even when I am not planning on looking. I will be in the church and during the sacriment I will be looking at the guys at church and thinking “wow his cute, his dressed really well and THANK GOD he goes to church!!” Maybe he could be the one as long as he notices me and stops me before I leave and asks for my number and we will live happily ever after!! FAIRY TALES.
That does not happen and at times this gets me down so I have decided that this will not be the case from now on. Today is the 15th of August (I will be posting this blog on the 17th cause I don’t have internet at home) 2009 and I am drawing this contract with myself and you who is reading as my witness that I will live the life of a single lady that is not desperate.
I will swim in my single pool. After all the single people are the ones that have the fun I will go out on dates. But the most important thing is whenever I step out of the house I will be looking fabulous from top to toe (FOR ME NOT FOR A MAN TO NOTICE ME), I will walk with my head held high and be ME. I have done enough of acting to last me a life time (I’m sure if I was in drama school I will have a PhD by now in Drama studies and won an Oscar) to impress a man. Some of us act differently when we around men trying to impress them, trying to be something or someone that you think he would like you to be ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
- I will not go around looking for man everywhere I go. If I am going to the mall let me shop my ass off and that be it
- I will not change myself for another person especially a man
- WILL LOOK FABULOUS EVERYDAY FOR ME! NO ONE ELSE
- WILL ENJOY BEING SINGLE
- WILL LEARN MORE ABOUT MYSELF AND WHAT I WANT AND NEED
