For the first time, Swiss luxury watch brand Omega will release the actual watch worn by 007 on screen. The Omega Seamaster 300 “SPECTRE” Limited Edition watch allows every man to indulge his finest James Bond fantasies. And in so doing, they also allow us ladies to contemplate our men playing the iconic super-spy.

While, sadly, it’s unlikely that your boyfriend will be the next 007, it’s fun to contemplate which local hotties could pull off a James Bond moment. Here are some of our suggestions:

Maps Maponyane: He recently graced our big screens as the leading man in the local rom-com, Tell Me Sweet Something, and Maps Maponyane is more than just easy on the eye – he’s also an acting dynamo. We think he’d pull off both the (very rare) tender moments Bond lets slip through as well as the sexy love scenes. As a model, he’s also more than capable of filling out a suit. Plus there’s an air of charming mystery about Maponyane that’s very Bond-like.

Jonathan Boynton-Lee: Top Billing presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee is no stranger to the fast-paced lifestyle that’s synonymous with the world’s top spy. Travelling the world is all part of a day’s work for the super-suave Boynton-Lee. He’s also willing to throw himself into any new experience even if it involves a certain element of danger – which for Bond, is all in a day’s work.

Trevor Noah: He’s proof that SA talent can amass a worldwide following, and as the newest presenter of the USA’s The Daily Show, Trevor Noah would make an interesting choice for 007. He may not be your quintessential man of action, but we think he’s got the looks, the style, the global appeal and definitely the confidence to pull off any role. His deadpan humour also makes him the ideal man to carry off the witty one-liners and puns that Bond’s so famous for.

Let us know who you think could pull off a James Bond moment and wear the The Omega Seamaster 300 “SPECTRE” Limited Edition watch with style.
