Black Coffee has raised the bar once again, following an announcement that he would be getting his own show on Apple’s Beats 1 radio station.

Beats 1 is a 24/7 music radio station on Apple Music and other notable names with shows on the international platform include Pharrell Williams, Drake and Dr Dre.

“The first thing you think is that you’re going to only hear house music or South African on my show, but what we’re trying to do is really expose people to me. As in, what do I love as this is my show? What inspires me musically? So it’s different sides and genres,” Black Coffee said in an interview with Tonight.

The two-hour show will start on 28 July and will air every Friday. Titled Black Coffee, the DJ says the show will not be predictable.

“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, just to show people my music world and what my interests are; the other things I do. I’m gonna bring more stuff like classical music, stuff I listen to every single day,” Black Coffee said in a statement.
