The new adidas Originals Deerupt runners are a fresh take on sneakers. Not only do they provide comfort when you are on the move, but they’re stylish too!

Inspired by the old

Global Senior Designer for adidas Originals, James Thompson, says they looked at ’80s running shoes, such as the adidas Marathon trainer and the New York runner, for inspiration, and then put a fresh spin on them.

“It’s an iconic look with a very appealing graphic quality, something that we wanted to explore in-depth,” he adds.

The adidas Deerupt stays true to the shoe’s original blueprint, with a webbing overlay and a minimal lacing system. But it’s all 2018.

What makes it stand out

The adidas Deerupt comes in six striking new colourways to complement any look.

Leveraging the shoes’ simple design and disruptive visuals, they come in a slew of two-tone editions – perfect for any outing.

Each of the new colourways of the runner contrasts understated monochromes with a range of fluorescent and pastel hues, creating a playful new take on the Deerupt model.

This all emphasises the shoe’s powerful take of disruptive simplicity.

The grid effect

These sneakers have a stretch mesh construction for simplicity, which is then placed on the top of a classic EVA midsole grid.

The  final touches that make this a stand-out include a leather heel patch with the Trefoil logo, a durable rubber outsole and an Ortholite sockliner for ultimate comfort that offers the right support your foot needs.
