Global Citizen Festival organisers are holding four lucky dip-style ticket draws that will enable you to use the points earned for doing good deeds to enter the raffle and stand a chance of winning a pair of tickets. The competition period runs from 21 August until 2 December.

All you need to do is take action on Global Citizen’s platform to become eligible to win a free ticket.

You can take action on Global Citizen website, in the Global Citizen app — which you can download data-free if you are a Vodacom customer — or you can find them on Facebook Messenger by searching Global Citizen.

The organisers had mailed the first participants who have earned enough Festival points by taking action and entering the draw to win tickets.

Eligible winners are chosen at random and every winner gets a pair of free tickets.

“We will have a ticket drawing every four weeks; we’ll email you if you’ve earned your free pair of tickets during that draw. If you did not get tickets, you can still keep taking action and enter again for the next drawing.”

Winners have 72 hours to claim their tickets after being notified.

The Global Citizen Festival is set to take place in Johannesburg and features a host of local and international stars, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Cassper Nyovest, D’banj, Ed Sheeran, Eddie Vedder, Femi Kuti, Pharrell Williams, Chris Martin, Sho Madjozi, Tiwa Savage, Usher, and Wizkid, with other artists still to be announced.
