Msutwana started off her career as an intern for At Vogue Communications, working on the NBCUniversal brand, which houses TV channels, including E! Entertainment, The Style Network Universal Channel and Studio Universal on DStv. She went on to become a PR Assistant and Account Manager, before becoming a Senior Brand Architect for DNA Brand Architects.
This was all before landing a role in managing PR for Lucozade SA through Mode Brand Studio and becoming an entrepreneur.
But this multipotentialite woman is not done yet – here is what she is up to right now:
Fashion retail: I recently launched an accessories brand called TIZIMA, which is named after my grandmother. I’ve always been a fan of accessories, particularly earrings, and every woman I knew was frequently buying them from international brands or local brands who sourced their products from China. I identified a gap to produce my own costume jewellery, manufactured in SA.
PR: I’m also working hard to ensure that Guide to Celebrity becomes a credible leader in celebrity culture and a viable content partner for brands launching campaigns and endorsements.
Public speaking: I’m finally in a position to accept speaking invitations. I’ve always been wary of speaking without honing and crafting my voice. Now I’m developing my speaking skills so I can reach more young South Africans who are committed to delivering excellence, while working on becoming the best versions of themselves.
