According to Khanye, HHP’s helper and her son, as well as two of her son’s friends who spent the night at HHP’s house were woken up in the early hours of Sunday morning to the sounds of someone breaking into the house.
“I got a call from the traumatised kids who told me that someone was breaking into the house. When [the robbers] were chased out, the four were taken in by a caring neighbour. She kept them there until we picked them up,”Khanye said in an interview with SowetanLive.

“Leano was not there because he had slept at my parents’ place. He was shattered and could not sleep thinking about his friends,” she said, adding that her son was being adversely affected by the ongoing drama between Sengadi and the Tsambo family.
Khanye says that when Leano’s friends went back to the Randpark Ridge home to fetch their belongings, they were under constant supervision and, in some instances, Sengadi allegedly had to approve some of the items before they could taken.

Sengadi’s lawyer Ndileka Ngoqo-Sithole has denied the break-in allegations.
